The Lower Primary curriculum is modelled upon the best content from UK International Primary programmes and the National Curriculum for England and Wales. It is designed to prepare children for success within an International curriculum framework later in their studies.

A broad range of subjects are studied in Grades 1 and 2-
English Language and Literature
Hindi
Gujarati
Mathematics
General Science (which includes aspects of Biology, Chemistry, Environment Studies and Physics)

Children in this part of the academy are taught by a mixture of generalist and specialist teachers, however their mentor and ‘significant adult’ will be the class homeroom teacher, who provide pastoral support as well as teaching.
